Jupiter Winter is the moniker of Los Angeles-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Lelia Broussard. “Golden Boy” arrives July 24 as the first single from The Devil You Know, Jupiter Winter’s debut album, out January 15, 2027. Written and self-produced from her East Los Angeles home studio alongside co-producer and partner Royce Whittaker, The Devil You Know is a collection of carefully crafted, intimate pop songs that move through self-doubt, change, resilience, and the quiet work of coming back to yourself.

There is a voice most of us know better than we’d like to. It isn’t loud. It doesn’t have to be. It is familiar, almost comfortable in the way it holds you back. The Devil You Know is Broussard’s conversation with that voice: the one that keeps you stuck in old patterns, old pain, and old versions of yourself.

Across the album, Jupiter Winter blends early aughts indie rock textures with the rawness and restraint of classic songwriting. Synth hooks, textured guitars, live drums, and atmospheric production sit alongside lyrics that feel direct, personal, and unguarded. The result is a debut that feels both nostalgic and present-tense, expansive but deeply human.

The album features contributions from acclaimed musicians including John Waugh of The 1975 on saxophone (“Change Is Slow”) and Aaron Steele of Foster the People on drums, adding to a world that feels lived-in, cinematic, and emotionally precise.

The Devil You Know marks the beginning of Jupiter Winter’s album era, but it carries the weight of a life already spent making music, surviving change, and learning how to trust your own voice again.
